Bo' Peanuts

I made boiled peanuts for the first time in a long time. I was in the Asian grocery and they caught my eye. I bought the dried ones too for the first time. I put them in the crockpot with a butt-ton of salt overnight. They taste just as good as the green ones.

I brought them to work with me and so far four people have tried them, and all four had no idea what they were ( someone asked me if they were pickles!). They all acted like I tried to feed them some exotic foreign food. One person told me they tasted like Boston Beans ( what are those?) and one said it tasted like eating a 'legume'.
