Well, I am busy here, which is why I havent posted. Really there is so much to write about but then I sit down to write something and cant figure out which thing to write about. Anways, I will try to be better!
This weekend we went to Gatlinburg, TN for a big family reunion with the outlaw side. We had an awesome time, and really hope it becomes a tradition. There were 21 of us in one huge mountain house. Sixteen of us went skiing the first day, and there were seven cousins all in ski school together. It was a looooong nine hour drive to get there but really it was worth it.

Gatlingburg is basically redneck central. The world headquarters of redneckness is about ten minutes down the road in Pigeon Forge, home of Dollywood, sadly closed for the winter. A close comparison would be Panama City. There were about twenty or more go-cart racing places in a three mile span. I was kind of amazed that every second person smoked and there were signs up at the go cart track and bungee jumping handwritten in on the front saying "do not bungee jump if you are pregnant". Also airbrush, henna tattoos and lots of bungee jumping and loop the loop type things. Seriously, who is into that?

The drive back was basically torture. I woke up at 4am the day we were supposed to leave, and saw that there was a severe storm warning at home (because I check my iphone in the middle of the night if I wake up- bad I know). I woke up J and we considered leaving right then, but then fell right back to sleep because, we are Bells and that is what we do. But then we woke up at 730 and were out the door by 8. The last hour or so of driving was so scary- there was icy sleety snow coming down, and the stuff on the roads was like a sing icey. The girls were sick of being in the car so I was sitting in the back with them trying to entertain. Meredith ate like 100 tic tacs in between telling me she was " I Mommy buddy, no, Daddy buddy, no, Mommy buddy". BUT- we made it back and though my accuweather app had predicted 1.5 inches of snow, there were actually more like 8. J and I both feel like we have PTSD from today's drive.
